D28 clone kit build, decided to give it a whirl and was completely blown away with the quality of the components! Built this one straight to spec, all hide glue, scalloped braces, Sitka spruce top, rosewood back,sides & Waverly tuning keys. I've done several at this point (this one is #1) and my son has given them all sword names.This particular one he has deemed "The Humbler"....I won't argue! There's a short video clip at the bottom before it was completely finished, still missing frets over the body but i thought it sounded really good... and those lessons could be paying off for my son.....
